Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of embedded software and firmware solutions. This position requires hands-on expertise with embedded systems, communication protocols, and Linux-based development on ARM platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation).
- 1 to 3 years of industrial experience in embedded software/firmware development.
- Freshers are kindly requested not to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in Embedded C or C++.
- Experience with Embedded Linux on ARM processors (e.g., iMX6, iMX7, iMX8, Tegra platforms).
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, GMSL, MIPI, USB, Ethernet, and WiFi.
- Knowledge of RTOS, device driver development, and threading concepts.
- Familiarity with code repositories like Git and SVN.
- Preferred:
- Experience with video devices, image sensors, and processors.
- Knowledge of audio and video codecs.
- Understanding of UVC and UAC protocols.
- Hands-on experience with camera interfaces using the MIPI protocol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Implementation:
- Design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems.
- Implement firmware solutions for field upgrades, manufacturing, and production.
- Collaboration and Debugging:
- Work with Linux-based tools/applications for development and debugging.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
- Testing and Support:
- Perform production releases, implementation, and support for mass production.
- Provide diagnostic support for product issues and device operations.
